Blogging Tools: Performancing

The next tool I want to talk about is the Performancing blog editor.

Before we even go on about the performancing blog editor you need to have the firefox browser to use it. If you already have it I recommend you download the latest version which has a built in spell check you can get it here: firefox download.

The performancing blog editor is an amazing tool for bloggers out there. It is a completely free plug in for the firefox browser with the following benefits:

1) You can write and manage blog for multiple blog sites and platforms including wordpress, movable type, blogger.com and myspace. With this software you can manage multiple sites at one time be it multiple myspace pages, blogs, or a mixture of both.

2) It will allow you to write and correctly format your blog in a web friendly format unlike microsoft word.

3) It archives your posts for you on your own computer. You have your library there and organized so you can re-edit them or repost them in the future.

4) It allows you to tag your posts for technorati, ping blog search engines notifying them of new posts, and post to del.icio.us. (We well cover all of these services in future entries.)

How do you get this? What do you need to do?

1) If you haven’t already download the firefox browser for your computer (just follow the link at the start of the post).

2) Download performancing for the firefox browser.
(note:once you have performancing installed in order to use it you have to click on the little paper and pen on the right hand corner of the firefox browser)

3) One final step you just need to install the myspace blog editor. To do that you just need to follow the instructions here, there is also a tutorial on the myspace blog editor there which I recommend you watch.
