I had a boss who H-A-T-E-D that my co-workers came to me instead of her whenever they had a problem or question. She figured there could only be one mother hen so she demoted my position at the time- right after my Granddad passed away because she said my "heart wasn't in the job" and then proceeded to try to get me fired. I wasn't having any of that so I went to human resources and the human rights commission in my city (I HATE being fucked with, and I will push back harder if I start being pushed), and that bitch backed off.
