They never did anything that technically broke the rules so their principal and all of the students and parents from our side would argue to keep them in. The other schools would claim it was distracting to have them there, they would do things like dress like giant birds and squawk at the opposing players or wear my old cheerleading uniforms and "perform" for the crowd... stuff that was hilarious to our own crowd, not so much to the other side. When the team took state the picture featured in the news paper was a near full page shot of one of my brothers in warpaint and a cheerleading skirt with a small picture of the team in the lower corner of the page. The team didn't mind though, they were just happy to get the first bball state championship the school had ever seen. Now that I have rambled on about that barely related anecdote, I vote ask Fannie.
