I was just mentioned on CNN
My post from Bloggers Unite was quoted on CNN this morning. Thanks Rich for making this happen. This was pretty sweet and for a really good cause.

CONGRATULATIONS!
Thanks for posting this–very cool!
I was STUNNED to see my blog on there this morning and when I saw yours I said, “Hey! I know that guy!”
It is great that they featured two people that usually have nothing to do with politics and real world issues.
What the hell were they thinking?
I know! It was TOTALLY unexpected for me. The funny thing was that at first when I saw it live I didn’t even recognize my own blog! LOL
Awesome!
wow my 15 minutes are officially up
Congratulations! That is very cool. Coincidental that I’m currently in Boston…? Am I your lucky charm?
hmmm that could very well be
AWESOME CONGRATS!!! and it was for something good you should be proud!
I always thought it would be for a massive arrest.
Awesome Man…very cool. Glad to see you got some love on cnn.com.
Yeah that was pretty awesome
That’s awesome!!!!!
What was the impact on your site traffic??
Eh not anything really. But the fact that I was mentioned on there gives me some cred I guess.
Hey, Congrats. I knew you had a heart! That’s great!
shh don’t tell anyone
Hey, congrats on the mention, and in a good context, too. Beats the hell out of getting your site mentioned for something less savory, that’s for certain.
I thought for sure I would only get mentioned with an arrest.
Congrats PB! Good post as well!
Thanks I appreciate it.
You are big time now.
I wrote about beer drinking and how it is cheaper than driving officially, and I feel like a tool. Save oil, I guess.
Nice work.
Want to get a beer?
Although it did kind of remind me of like, Leave it to Beaver and Eddie Haskell showing up in the kitchen in his best sweater. Then when Mrs. Cleaver leaves the room he’s like, ‘Wally, lets go kill a hooker!’.
You have no idea… just wait until you see what I break out next week.
Congrats! I assume you’ll be seeing a number of odd comments from new site visitors shortly! Just be sure to educated them with a few new Words of the Day – like ‘j-lube’ or ‘ear rapping.’
Just wait until next week when I scare them all away.
congrats! first your blog being banned and now this!
It was a hell of a week. Next week is going to be a huge letdown.
Congrats dude – CNN ftw!
Thanks man
Dude, that is fantastic — primo exposure! Good for you.
kk
Thank you
wow
It is disgusting and amazing all at the same time.
right on Kevin!!!
*myself I’ve been involved with the White Ribbon Campaign for several years and take great pride in knowing our non-profit organization is making a difference
Doing the right thing and a good thing once and awhile is important.
SWEET!!! That is so AWESOME!
Thanks

Wow, congrats. I mean, you didn’t get just a tiny plug, they took an excerpt from your site. That’s HUGE!
Yeah I am pretty excited about it.
That’s really cool! Congrats!
gracias
WOW, Kevin! Way to go…!!!!!!
Don’t forget those of us who have been there since the beginning when you’re all famous… some of us remember Brian Fellowes!
sidenote: I’m going to interview a friend of mine on a blog soon. He is from The Gambia and we’ve been buddies for a couple of years now- he has a position in the military- very high up. He was in Darfur as a UN observer for at least 6 months. He just got home a month or so ago. He went from being the most sunshine-y person I have ever corresponded with to being very upset- shaken to the core by the things he has seen. So we’re going to spread the word about what is really going there. I’ll let you know when it happens. Later on I’ll also forward you a profile of a friend of mine who works with an organization to help Darfur, and they even went to Washington last fall and had convos with politicians about it.
I’m really amazed you’re doing all this! Trisha
Let me know about those.
Hey congrats. That was cool. I can remember way back (a few short years ago) when is stumbled across your blog and you were talking about David Caruso’s bad acting ability (or maybe that was someone else…), well anyways good job!
I’m all grownz ups
Holy blog mention Batman! Super sweet, great job. =)
It is all down here from now
Congrats for being featured, that’s great. Nice to see someone making a move for positive change in the world.
I hope that a few people got something out of this.
Seriously, congrats!!!
)
Seriously thanks.
National recognition. *claps Kevin on the back* It’s about freakin’ time! Congrats.
I wish I had my new book out.
I’m SO proud of you, Kevin! *dabs away a tear*
Sniffle… who would have thought huh?
Well I’ll be damned. Good job…
Did you have to apply for that or did they pluck you out of the masses?
I was one of ten blogs sent in to CNN and they picked what ones they wanted to air.
THAT is awesome. Congrats!
I was mentioned on CNN once. But the records have been expunged. So I can’t talk about it.
did you “date” spitzer?
Well he did buy me…
Dinner.
you know what …your 15 mins may just continue…
I know when is see a topic on the news…and i am interested about it…Ill go to the site the news mention and either love it or hate it…Might I say…this may or may not have gained you more readership and future hate mail!
Like I saw on CNN about dooce.com and now im hooked on this ladies blog…she talks about her life as a mother and wife and makes the truth funny…
probably not your thing…but ladies and moms should totally check it out!
again thats http://www.dooce.com
She gets four million page views a month. You really don’t need to pimp her out.
way to be! now you’re big time. haha
nah, you already were.
I think this makes me legit
Instead of an arrest warrant you get featured on CNN
I know… I never though I would be on there for something good.
Hey Kevin.. Can I get your autograph??
Where do you want me to sign?
I can’t get the video to play
do you have a direct link?
I added a link
Never mind, I got it to work! hey she said over 7 million entries come up… and they chose yours! Nice.
dude. That’s so sweet! I knew I was stalking you for a reason.
It makes it all worth while now doesn’t it.
Congratulations. Hey, if you ever get mentioned again, could you mention me:P
CNN? Pfff…MSNBC is where it’s at. (Just kidding)
Congrats.
ALL blogs are inconsequential. A blog with a cause doesn’t make it any better. I say this as a blogger.
/all
I expect to see this on t-shirt soon
Well done:)
I am so happy you got mentioned! I love reading all of your Blogs
you do a really good job! Congrats!
Congrats, Kev. This is a really important issue and I’m glad bloggers are paying attention to it.
GO U!!!
u attention whore! hahahaha
Congrats to you and also to Blogcatalog. This is wonderful!
Well son of a MacGyver. That’s something I didn’t expect to see. Congratulations.
I can’t believe so-called “legitimate journalists” are actually acknowledging bloggers. Apocalypse now.
Well done mate!
Maybe you could run for president now. Give the voters an option to vote a ‘real’ person and you’ll romp it in.
Well done!
p.s. I drink Becks. Put some in the fridge at the white house for when I visit
*sniffles* and to think I knew you when you were just a My Space whore. So proud, so proud…
!!!!!!!congrats!!!!!!!!
