I was a black kid in the 90’s and the sad thing was is that I couldn’t dance. I was rhythmically challenged like my mom would say, the only little black girl who couldn’t get down. The one with the big pink glasses and the 80’s jheri-curl. Until I hit high school, then I was hot but still couldn’t move too well. I could only dance soca, calypso, and reggae(if i didn’t figure out how to gyrate my waist, i knew i was doomed when it came to boys.) I would have loved to be hippie in the 70’s, maybe then I won’t be so much against pot and finally smoke it and feel good.
