Scott Baio is 45 and Single
Once and awhile something comes on TV that can change your life FOREVER, something that is so epic that it could alter the course of history as we know it… Sunday night held one such event the debut of “Scott Baio is 45 and Single”.
Sure the premise of the show is kind of lame, Baio who has been one of the biggest male sluts in the history of Hollywood meets with a life coach who tells him he needs to be celibate for 8 weeks and reassess why he hasn’t settled down. For Baio this is near impossible and for his dorky friends that pick up his lady scraps, well it was going to throw a major kink in their love lives.
As the show goes on learn that Baio is kind of a dick that doesn’t like people, he hates anything that has to do with “Happy Days”, and gets pissed when people refer to him as Chachi. Apparently Baio gets so pissed that he actually wants to fight people that drop the Chachi name on him. Finding all of this out about Baio kind of tarnished my all time hero but these following facts and events from the show ultimately redeemed him:
1) He lost his virginity to Erin Moran (Joanie):
I don’t know if I would be proud of this or not but we’ll give Baio the benefit of the doubt here. The best part about this is that Baio’s life coach had him meet with her and find out what went wrong with their relationship which happened when he was like 15. The following nuggets of “information” were dropped at this point.
- Baio talked about getting married months into the relationship which led her to break up with him.
- She said that Baio had a small penis and that he had “more growing to do”.
- Apparently one time Baio actually banged the couch when they were hooking up.
2) He is best friends with the older brother from “Wonder Years”:
It’s nice to see Jason Hervey appearing on TV in some way, shape, or form. In the last year the father from “Wonder Years” showed up on ESPN’s new TV show “The Bronx is Burning”, Winnie Cooper was in a lame horror movie, and now this… We just need Paul to make an appearance and all will be right with the world… and NO he is NOT Marilyn Manson.
3) Nicole Eggert had a problem with Baio because all the Playmate Poon…
The show had an extended preview for rest of the season that included Nicole Eggert essentially saying that is was hard to date Baio because she would come into his dressing room and see him using Playboy magazine as a catalog basically. He would have someone call up and get a date with any girl he found in that magazine.
Nicole Eggert wasn’t hot enough for Scott Baio…
So this is my guilty pleasure of the summer…

I didn’t watch it. Mostly because he is becoming that scary old guy at the bar in the club.
He may have pulled decent women in his prime, but since he is on TV bragging about Erin Moran, I am afraid his star is beginning to diminish…

Watched it, and loved it. Although I have never understood why so many actors harbor such bad feelings when people bring up the character that made them famous. I would never mention that I ever had sex with Erin Moran if I were him. I still love him.
I think it’s funny that his manager took the opportuned moment of having the cameras around to tell him that he thought doing the show was a bad idea. Reminded me of that show Lisa Kudrow did on HBO.

Tae I watched the show, I’m 47, I would have banged her, but no bragging rights there!! A show about me would be way more interesting!!!!!!!
My boyfriend and I watched the first episode and it was okay.. however I think my boyfriend actually likes it because when I was flipping through the channels, he saw that it was on and was like… hey flip it to VH1 (a rerun) and was pretty upset that we were grocery shopping on Sunday, he remarked, “Hey you are making me miss my Show, Scott Baio” (I wasn’t sure if he was being sarcastic or not) but one thing is LOSE the BEST FRIEND
That man is the worst coat tail hanger I have ever seen and seems to the biggest USER.
Basically I don’t kiss and tell. However I hear people bragging about sleeping with ME all the time, I’m sort of the office pet/slut!

Of course I watched it. I watched every Happy Days & Joanie Loved Cha Chi, too. Even the lame ones when they were wearing disco-ey clothes and it was supposed to be the late 50’s or early 60’s.
I thought Joanie was shaped weird at that time. Good eyes.

Vern Troyer (aka Mini Me) HATES when you call him Mini Me. I mean he gets PISSED. I watched The Surreal Life Fame Games and he would correct people over and over again until they called him by his real name.
As for this show, I didn’t watch it. And I agree with femchauvinist74..if he apparently has a small penis, and being such an asshole that he apparently is, that’s probably why he has such a big problem. I never really like Scott Baio. I liked The Fonz, Henry Winkler lol. He’s in a lot of Adam Sandler’s movies now.

To brag on Erin is NOT saying much esp these days…Scott that’s another matter HELLYA then and now!!!!!!!!!! I see nothing wrong wrong with a man being single until he himself IS READY for the plunge of commitment.
i did watch the show. what was better was “rock of love” which was on after. just like flavor of love only rocker skanks instead of ghetto skanks. absolutely fabulous.
