There was at least one PPP advertiser that asked for a negative post. I'm not going to link to mine, but if you Google the title "I Can Hear it Sucking", it is on the first page. I had hoped for more negative 'opps' but I have yet to see another one.

Hey, at the risk of sounding defensive, I post for Pay Per post, and I am not the kind of blogger you seem to think all Posties are. \par
\par
I don't review sites so much as mention them, sometimes in passing when writing about something completely unrelated. And i certainly don't write about things I am not interested in. For example, if I know I don't play paintball or book hotels online, I don't take those opportunities. \par
\par
I've also never read that all the reviews have to be positive. I can see how that would be worrisome, if it were true, but it's not. So there you go.

To Wolfieb: Yes, I do use spell checker. I also use grammar checker and a lot of other nifty tools to polish the end product. Here I just type on the fly, if that isn't good enough for you, feel free to pay me to make my posts prettier. That, or buy my books and slam me in a proper review. I could use the publicity.

Wow. I was wondering if you or your other commenters could tell me exactly what these "other ways to earn money" are. I make around $100.00 a week with PayPerPost, I only take opportunities that I like, my morals are just fine, and my credibility is too. My husband and I were barely keeping our heads above water, although he works very hard, we never had anything left over. Now I make enough to buy our kids new clothes and shoes, we can rent a DVD once in a while, and I can even drink a froufrou coffee drink without worrying about whether the electric bill will get paid. Sure, I could put my three kids in daycare and get a job, but full time daycare is $100 a week per child. Am I going to find a job I enjoy that will pay me, after taxes, FICA, medical, dental, vision, and all those extras, more than $300 a week? Probably not. \par
\par
AND, are you telling me that if Bob AverageGuy goes to work every day at the widget company, and does payroll or accounting or client management or tech support or project management, that at no time EVER is he doing ANYTHING that makes him feel like he has lost a bit of integrity? When he has to fire a single mother who missed too many days of work because her kid was sick, or when he has to write up someone for falling asleep at their desk because they were up all night with a newborn, are you telling me Bob doesn't feel like he has gone against his own moral beliefs a little bit? Why is getting paid to tell my blog readers about XYZ website equal to being the spawn of Satan? Is it worse than being a LAWYER?? \par
\par
I hope you understand that I am just trying to look at this subject from both sides here. I am going to write for PayPerPost and you are not, and that is just fine. You don't like them, I do, and that is fine as well. I have readers who have come right out and told me that they skip posts that look like reviews, and that's fine. I hope we can agree to disagree.

[quote comment="2802"]Plus, to date, I've never blogged for them about ANYTHING that I loved.\par

It's up to the bloggers to choose what they want to write about. It all really depends on the integrity of the blogger. If you don't like it, don't blog about it. Simple as that.\par
\par
It's the type of blogger you are, that people such as Kevin should be complaining about. Stop blaming PPP for your "lack of morals" as PPP critics say.\par
\par
TO KEVIN AND OTHERS:\par
Not all PPP opportunities require positive reviews, some require neutral which means you can go either positive or negative (yes, you can post negative reviews). Get your facts straight. If you can't say anything positive about an opportunity that requires a positive review, then don't write about it.\par
\par
This whole thing is like blaming your debt on the credit card company who you CHOSE to apply to for a credit card.
