My New Career, Greeting Card Maker

By: Bobby Finstock on 01/11/07 @ 7:52 am

So I have decided to embark on a career as a greeting card maker. I am going to design a first run of cards and then bring them to the local Hallmark store and put them on the shelves. Sure I won’t get the money from the sales but I figure it is a good way to promote my new greeting card company.

I am going to really go after the people that don’t have greeting cards made for them. Here is my initial run of cards:

FRONT-

surprise

INSIDE-

I JUST GAVE YOU HERPES!!!

FRONT-

Well it could be worse

preggers

INSIDE-

You could have knocked her up, oh I am pregnant by the way.

FRONT-

Isn’t this kitten cute?

cute kitten

INSIDE-

Glad you think so because your cat is dead and we need to replace it.

FRONT-

Aren’t the events in Darfur awful?

darfur

INSIDE-

Well that should put me breaking up with you into prospective.

There are my first couple of mock-ups. I really think this has a lot of potential.

Does anyone else have any ideas for cards? Are there other segments of the population that I should cover?

You have some good ones here. How about a picture of crack pipe and inside… surprise, this is your Intervention. Or one with an office with a man holidng a picture that says ’sorry’ and inside… Sorry, you were late again for whatever reason. Consider yourself fired. Sorry.
