Blogging Tools: The Firefox Browser
I have been talking to a few people about starting a series on blogging: the mechanics of it, the tools that are out there, and some of the available resources that people can use. In the time I have been blogging I have been studying the medium of it a lot, there are tons of things out there that most bloggers don’t know about. Using these tools you can your blog get read by different people and sources as well as give you a lot of tools and options when blogging.
The first thing I want to talk about is the Firefox Browser.
If you don’t have the firefox browser or haven’t downloaded the newest version released last week you can get it right here:
This browser is going to be the backbone of a lot of the tools I am going to talk about. Also the cool thing about this browser is that it has a spell check option built in. So whenever you are filling out a form, writing a blog, or leaving a comment it will automatically check the content for you. You don’t have to download anything special it comes built in.
The reason why firefox is the backbone is because that it is highly customizable and allows people to install various plug-ins which I will cover one by one.
