This has been bugging me all night

So I was flipping through the channels last night trying to fall asleep and I stopped on Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure.

It was the scene where Ted falls down the stair when fighting with a knight. Bill thinks he dies and goes after the knight only for Ted to reappear and say that when he fell down the stairs he “fell out of the armor”.

How the fuck is that physically possible?

How come girls don’t trip on stairs and fall out of their clothes? Every day on campus when I go the main stairwell I am hoping to see a naked girl standing there with a red face just so I can have this conversation:

Me: Oh my god are you ok?
Her: Yeah, I just tripped down the stairs.
Me: Then why are you naked?
Her: I fell out of my clothes.

I am sure it would be one of the most natural conversations I will ever have.
