If I had my own tv network

After getting a concussion the other day, I had a weird dream where I was put in charge of a television network. In the dream most of the programs that I had to choose from were utter shit.

The dream got me thinking though. If I could run a network what tv shows would I bring back?

The Gong Show

Why? I am going to go out on a limb and call this the greatest TV show ever. The premise is simple there is an act on stage, if you make it through the act without getting gonged you get voted on. Plus the host, Chuck Barris, is whacked out of his mind for like the entire run of the series which made it that much more entertaining.

Bj and the Bear

Why? Tractor trailer, the driver, and a chimp… Do I even need to say more?

Just the Ten of Us

Why? I think I started to get to know my body better because of the Lubbock Daughters.

Remote Control

Why? This was the single greatest show that EVER aired on MTV. You can find episodes on youtube if you look for it. The show had three college students sitting in lounge chairs answering questions that they got from the channels of the TV. Some of the channels included : Dead or Canadian, Leave Out the Beaver, Brady Physics, Beat the Bishop, Trivia Delinquent, and Sing Along with Colin.

Parker Lewis Can’t Lose

Why? Because I like total rip off’s of Ferris Bueller.

No not the crappy TV show version with Jennifer Aniston as his sister.

That Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

Cathouse: The Series

Why? This is a show on HBO that was on like a year or two ago about the Moonlight Bunny Ranch in Nevada which is a brothel. I loved watching this show. There is nothing better than watching hookers fight and be catty over guys they are going to bang. Plus there was nudity which is always an added bonus. Plus negotiations with prostitutes always interest me. I wish I could just negotiate with hookers and not have to have sex with them. I just want to know the threshold that they value their body and certain sexual acts it interests me to know end.
