Your reasons for why Harry Potter sucks are as childish as your claim the books to be. Your arguments are juvenile and the one time you manage to talk about the actually story/characters, you’re completely wrong. The books are labeled under “children’s books” because when Rowling released the first one, that’s the only label her publisher would release them under. Since then the books have evolved into much more mature books, but the label has remained. That being said, you shouldn’t judge people on the way they dress, just like people shouldn’t judge you for writing shitty and inaccurate blogs. And don’t compare the books and the movies without reading and watching them all. the movies don’t compare. I hate the movies, and am obsessed with the books. Don’t hate Harry Potter because the movies are bad. Hate the movies because the movies are bad.

I guess they let just anyone write blogs these days…

I totally agree with you Bobby.. I tried to watch the first movie when it came out and the second but never got into it.

My problem is that harry potter (daniel radcliffe) is a fucking gay nerd and everytime i see or think about his face i just want to smash it!

Any male fan of his is probably gay!

You’re entitled to your opinion, but saying a book sucks because it is too long is one of the worst arguments I’ve ever heard. HP may be a children’s series, but it deals with a lot of topics that adults deal with, and the story line is deep and complex. People of any age can enjoy it. Also, I failed to see one valid criticism of the content in the novels. To me, this sounds like the rantings of someone who’s seen the movies, but never read the books.

Hmm, it seems to me that you think the fan frenzy surrounding the books is annoying, and not the books themselves (perhaps you should change the title). I fully agree with you about the fans, it’s absurd. But the books themselves are good reads, though not the most thought provoking, they’re truly engaging.

HP sucks ass, but these folks obviously know how to market this crap well. It’s pathetic to see adults dressed up in costumes, waving their wands and shit. The people need to grow the fuck up and read a real book.

HP books don’t stand alone and could never be in the same league as The Classics. I can’t believe teachers use these books in their curriculum. HP is nothing more than refurbished bullshit plots. I would rather read, “What’s Your Poo Telling You?”
