How To Make Everyone in America Treat Each Other Better
This is second in a series of Kevin’s Personal Philosophy. My first was my take on New Years Resolutions with A Nub For New Years Program. This philosophy or plan was touched upon in one of my random thoughts blogs and I would like to expand upon it now.
I have an idea to improve the quality of life for everyone in America, it is a multi step plan that will require the help of everyone in the United States.
First Step
The government needs to collect all the guns and ammo in the country that are privately owned and destroy them. I know everyone that is a NRA member just shit themselves. Trust me there is a method to my madness. But I will address some of your concerns right now, “But I like to hunt.” Be a real man and hunt with a compound bow. That is real hunting, sitting in a tree with a high powered rifle is not. I am not taking away bows and arrows, I am not against hunting but at least make it a sport. There is nothing worse then seeing two guys on ESPN hunting a bear or something and they have a freaking sniper rifle. “Well Bob we are like 500 yards away from the bear and we have him in our sites…” How is that a freaking sport?
I know that gun manufacturers are freaked out right about now… Just keep reading.
The only people allowed to keep guns are: shooting ranges, police, military.
Second Step
Issue everyone over the age of 18 in the United States with a gun and one bullet. Each gun with have finger print reader locks on the handle to unlock the gun, so the owner of the gun is the only one that can use it. Every bullet issued will have engraved on it the owner’s information. Then before you issue it make everyone take a class on gun safety and how to fire it. The gun manufactures just made the largest single sale to the government ever so they are happy, and will continually produce weapons for when people turn 18.
Third Step
Change the laws. Everyone is required at all times to carry their gun and single bullet on them. Also everyone in the United States is allowed to kill one person if they want in their lifetime with zero punishment with their gun. If they kill anyone any other way or if they kill more than one person then they go to jail or the death penalty depending on your particular state. After they have used their one bullet they still must carry it on them at all times.
Result
Since we live in a state of fear why not step it up a notch. The impact of this program will be felt throughout society.
Imagine the customer service you will receive when you shop. You think that guy behind the counter at Verizon is going to be a prick about your cell phone bill? Not with the risk of losing his life. And in return you aren’t going to go in there and be a total asshole to him because hey you could get shot if he was having a bad day. I can tell you that you won’t be getting cut off in traffic anymore because the other driver doesn’t want to run the risk of getting shot.
The result is everyone will have to treat everyone better because of the risk of losing their life.
I can hear all the questions now:
Won’t there be a massive mass killings on the first day issued?
Possibly but think about this, you only have one bullet so if you mess up and the person lives you’re screwed. They still have their gun and bullet and you don’t. Also they have family members, so if you kill someone there is could possibly be retribution. That is why all the bullets are coded with your info because it will be published in the papers who did what. The whole fear of losing your life will deter you from actually going out and waxing your ex wife because you don’t want to pay child support.
Won’t this increase crime?
It will deter crime. Violent crimes should decrease, you think a guy is going to jump a girl in the park and attempt to rape her if he knows she is packing? He will think twice. Home invasion… they’ll decrease. Bank robbery, you think anyone is going to have the balls to go into a bank with one bullet and threaten to kill someone? He isn’t going to make it out of there alive.
What about my right to bare arms?
Um this is the NRA’s wet dream, everyone gets a gun. It says nothing about ammunition in the Constitution.
People say we live in a culture of fear… So screw it lets take it up a notch. There is no way this plan doesn’t work. Sure it might be savage but hey ladies at least it will keep the creeps off of you at the bars for fear you might go Dirty Harry on their asses.

What if I steal other people’s guns or bullets?
I could just use other things as bullets. And what if for that one person someone wanted to kill an innocent 7 year old kid, should he still not be punished? Its good to know you would only be violent towards people who morally deserve it, but not everyone is like that
