Baby Names For a Friend

I have a friend (for protection purposes she will be nameless) that is pregnant. For the first time ever I feel like I have a shot to influence what she might name her child. I had no shot before influencing my other friends, so this is my best shot. Fuck the fiancé he has no pull regarding this, I held a swing for her like 8 million times in sixth grade. Plus I just know they are going to go with some hipster name that would probably get the kid picked on forever. Here is my list of suggestions.

You could go the African American route and name your child after cities or countries.

-Lauderdale
-Poughkeepsie
-Syracuse
-Olean
-Liberia

These would be much more fitting for a girl. Lauderdale would end up being a stripper though I just know it.

Then I thought if you had a boy you could name him after celebrities but using their last names.

-Barkley
-Beckham
-Gretzky
-Farrell
-Grisham

Finally I would like to suggest movie character’s names. Of course we have to go with 80’s movies on this one and maybe a few others. And if anyone besides myself is actually reading this if you message me with what movie these characters were in and I will give you a prize or something.

-Long Duk Dong
-Farmer Ted
-Lelaina
-Dyer
-Youngblood or Dean just so you can call him Deaner
-Elisnore
